Sales Assistant – Part‑time Retail Role

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is looking for a passionate Sales Assistant to join its Kendal store. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere, maintain high presentation standards and ensure a safe, efficient shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting new team members.
• Assist with daily store operations, including accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organised and visually appealing, ensuring products are well‑stocked and attractively displayed.
• Stay informed about product features, promotions and pricing to advise customers effectively.
• Support the team in meeting and exceeding sales targets and help identify growth opportunities.
