Sales Assistant – Retail (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Topps Tiles as a part‑time Sales Assistant, working 10 hours per week on weekend opening shifts. You will help customers visualise their tile projects, provide expert advice and drive sales in a supportive, small‑team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build long‑term relationships with trade and retail customers using a consultative sales approach.
• Ask targeted questions to understand customer needs and recommend the best tile products.
• Use creativity to inspire customers with colour, style, layout and design ideas.
• Maintain expert product knowledge and use it to drive sales.
• Confidently close sales and maximise every opportunity.

Required profile

• Outgoing, friendly and energetic personality.
• Willingness to lift heavy boxes and work on your feet.
• Ability to work weekends and enjoy three days off at Christmas.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy for handling sales transactions.
