Sales Assistant – ReUse Network Team Member

About the role

Join the growing ReUse network at LondonEnergy as a Sales Assistant. You will help give quality donated items a second life while supporting local communities and the environment through hands‑on retail work across multiple shop locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and promote the environmental benefits of reUse.
• Maintain attractive retail displays, ensure safe housekeeping, and create engaging merchandising.
• Sort, price, and prepare donated goods, identifying high‑value items and supporting stock rotation.
• Manage online sales platforms – photograph stock, create listings, respond to enquiries, and coordinate collections or dispatch.
• Process payments, keep accurate stock and financial records, and handle returns or refunds in line with company policy.
• Support the movement and safe handling of reusable goods across the network, working closely with RRC teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures, report hazards, and adapt to flexible site requirements.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good organisational, problem‑solving and basic numeracy abilities.
• Experience in a customer‑facing or retail environment.
