About the role
Join Specsavers in Street, Somerset as a Sales Assistant and Trainee Optical Assistant. This entry‑level position is perfect for a caring, enthusiastic individual who wants to start a career in optical retail without prior experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the store and provide friendly service.
- Book eye tests and pre‑screen patients.
- Offer style advice and help customers choose frames.
- Measure frames and assist with fittings.
- Answer phone calls and handle basic enquiries.
Required profile
- Passionate, hard‑working and customer‑focused.
- Willing to work Saturdays (8:30 am‑5:30 pm) with an unpaid lunch break.
- Open to learning on the job and developing a career in optical retail.
