Sales Associate – Full‑Time & Part‑Time

About the role

Join the Urban Outfitters team in Oxford to support the store management in creating a creative, employee‑focused environment. You will embody the VIBE philosophy and help train peers through a "Peers Training Peers" approach.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly, positive experience by engaging customers through conversation and service.
• Maintain store standards that meet mystery‑shop expectations and uphold the VIBE during peak selling hours.
• Work collaboratively with teammates, assist in training, and communicate effectively in daily meetings.
• Operate tills, handle shipments, manage fitting‑room guidelines, and keep receiving/back‑stock areas organized.
• Complete weekly tasks such as markdowns, re‑tickets, transfers and RTVs accurately and on time.
• Follow loss‑prevention, inventory‑control, health and safety procedures.
• Uphold merchandising and cleanliness standards, ensure merchandise is ticketed and the sales floor is well stocked.
• Stay aware of current product trends and assist with visual‑merchandising projects.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, respectful attitude.
