Sales Consultant – In‑home Relocation Surveys

About the role

Join a leading removals and relocation brand as a Sales Consultant, conducting in‑home surveys across Hampshire and surrounding counties. You will work independently, travelling directly from home to customers' properties to assess their moving needs and provide accurate quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out an average of four in‑home surveys per day, adjusting for seasonal demand.
• Assess property contents, access and specific requirements to produce competitive quotes.
• Guide customers through options with a consultative, empathetic approach.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings while building lasting relationships.
• Manage your own diary and pipeline across the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Proven experience in face‑to‑face, consultative sales (any sector accepted).
• Strong communication and rapport‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated with the capacity to work independently without micromanagement.
• Willingness to travel daily across the Basingstoke/Hampshire area.

Required skills

• Ability to assess property layouts and contents for moving quotations.
• Competence in using mobile or tablet devices for data entry and quoting.

What we offer

• Base salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per year.
• Car allowance of £4,500.
• Uncapped commission with OTE uplift of £10,000‑£15,000 for strong performers.
• Field‑based role with no office commute and full control of your diary.
