Sales Consultant – PPE & Workwear

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Consultant with experience in personal protective equipment (PPE) or workwear to join a well‑established company in the West Midlands. You will work closely with the Director to acquire new clients, manage relationships and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Onboard and upsell clients, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to active customer.
• Visit clients across the region for meetings and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support order fulfilment and service delivery.
• Achieve sales targets and benefit from uncapped commission on sales over target.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a sales consultant, business development executive or account manager.
• Knowledge of the PPE or workwear industry.
• Ability to commute to Oldbury and the surrounding area.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary £30,000‑£35,000 per year plus OTE up to £45,000.
• Uncapped commission paid at 5% on sales over target.
• Hybrid working after an initial settling period.
• Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm schedule with paid mileage.
