Sales Consultant – Procurement Recruitment (Contract Desk)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Consultant to build and lead a specialist Procurement contract desk in Whiteley. You will work within Matchtech’s Commercial & Professional Services team, placing white‑collar procurement talent across FMCG, Retail and Financial Services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a dedicated Procurement contract desk in the London market.
• Recruit senior buyers, supply‑chain managers, procurement specialists, legal counsel and related roles.
• Generate new business opportunities and nurture long‑term client relationships.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development to placement and account management.
• Network with procurement professionals and clients to become a market specialist.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Matchtech’s wider teams and sectors.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience or a strong sales background.
• Proactive, resilient and commercially driven mindset.
• Confidence in building relationships with clients and candidates.
