Sales Consultant – Retail Sleep Products

About the role

As a Sales Consultant in our Kendal store you will use your product knowledge and natural ability to engage customers to help them choose the right sleep solutions. You will be trained on the company’s sleepPRO technology and supported to deliver an excellent in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and advise customers on mattresses, beds and related accessories.
• Demonstrate and explain the benefits of sleepPRO technology.
• Maintain store presentation, ensuring the shop is clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to uncapped commission and store bonus schemes.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, to match peak trading periods.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing retail role.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and adapt approach to customer needs.
• Resilience, resourcefulness and willingness to try new ideas.
