Sales & Customer Service Administrator – Kitchen Refurbishment

About the role

Join the UK’s leading kitchen makeover company as a Sales and Customer Service Administrator. Working part‑time from the Thatcham showroom, you will be the first point of contact for customers both in‑person and over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in the showroom and gather full requirements, budget and design preferences.
• Arrange and book home‑visit appointments for the sales team.
• Demonstrate kitchen products – doors, worktops, handles, appliances – and advise on colours and styles.
• Handle inbound calls and follow up internet and email enquiries.
• Prepare quotations, place orders, liaise with suppliers and perform general admin tasks.
• Maintain a clean and tidy showroom environment.
• Work a flexible schedule including a rotating Saturday shift.
• Assist across other departments as business needs arise.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer‑facing sales or admin role.
• Experience in kitchens, bathrooms, home‑furnishing or similar sectors is advantageous.
• Friendly, engaging demeanor with a strong interest in home improvement.
• Ability to work independently and manage the showroom alone when required.
• Confident in converting enquiries into appointments or leads.
• Willingness to work alternate Saturdays on a rota basis.
