Sales Development Representative – German Speaker (Remote‑First)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Sales Development Representative to join Auctane’s fast‑growing sales team. The role is remote‑first, with a monthly visit to our London office, and focuses on generating qualified sales opportunities for our e‑commerce and shipping software portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and develop leads into sales‑ready opportunities.
• Engage prospects via phone, email and live chat, handling inbound inquiries.
• Overcome objections and articulate the value of Auctane’s solutions.
• Research target companies, contacts and accounts to build pipelines.
• Document all activities and update lead stages in Salesforce.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity generation targets.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a startup environment.
• Goal‑oriented self‑starter with strong work ethic.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and written/oral communication in English and German.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred).
• Basic understanding of e‑commerce, shipping, or B2B SaaS products.

• Salesforce (lead and opportunity management).
