Sales Director – International Business Unit

About the role

Slingshot Aerospace is seeking a senior sales leader to head its International Business Unit. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process for government and commercial customers worldwide, driving revenue growth and shaping the company’s market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the international sales team, setting clear targets, coaching performance and scaling the organisation as demand grows.
• Own the qualified sales pipeline (12‑month horizon), ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and conversion of opportunities into bookings and recurring revenue.
• Develop and execute account strategies for priority customers, including engagement plans, stakeholder mapping and growth objectives.
• Serve as the voice of the customer across product, engineering, finance and leadership to influence roadmap and capture plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading enterprise, government, defence or aerospace technology sales.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets, managing complex sales cycles and delivering recurring revenue.
• Strong commercial judgment with ability to assess value, risk and competitive positioning.
• People‑management experience: coaching, performance management and building commercial capability.

Required skills

• HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) for disciplined sales execution and reporting.
• Experience with SaaS, analytics and data‑driven software solutions.
• Knowledge of command and control, space‑domain‑awareness and satellite‑operations technologies.
