Sales Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and scale our UK commercial operation for a fast‑growing technology company at the intersection of digital identity, compliance and financial crime prevention. Reporting directly to the founders and executive leadership, you will shape the UK growth strategy, close high‑value enterprise deals and build a high‑performing sales function.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the UK go‑to‑market strategy, targeting priority sectors and customer segments.
• Develop revenue growth plans aligned with company objectives and build a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
• Personally lead and close strategic, high‑value deals, engaging senior stakeholders across compliance, fraud, risk, operations and technology.
• Navigate complex procurement and regulatory buying processes.
• Establish the company’s market position in the UK and develop partnerships to support long‑term growth.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales team.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading enterprise sales in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Strong experience selling SaaS solutions to regulated organisations.
• Ability to work directly with founders and senior leadership to shape strategy.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with C‑level decision‑makers.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams.
