Sales Engagement Executive

About the role

Route 1 Print, the UK's largest online trade printer, is looking for an ambitious outbound sales specialist to drive product and category penetration across its existing and registered customer base. Candidates will not make cold calls to blind directories: every contacted customer already knows the company, holds an active trade account or has recently registered. The role is office-based, five days a week in Manvers, Rotherham, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, with weekly pay every Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily outbound campaigns to existing trade resellers and warm sign-ups to find untapped product categories.
• Engage business owners, print buyers and designers to audit their current order habits and spot cross-sell opportunities.
• Use the company's USPs to increase partner retention and acquisition.
• Guide customers through product innovations, finishes and paper stocks using sample packs and price comparisons to turn single-product buyers into multi-category partners.
• Reconnect with accounts whose purchasing has slowed and secure repeat spend.
• Maintain CRM hygiene, track contact rates, follow up on pricing inquiries and move leads through the pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a target-driven outbound environment (outbound call centre, telemarketing, B2B outbound or high-volume internal sales).
• Natural curiosity to ask probing questions that uncover unmet client needs.
• Resilience and a structured approach to high-volume outbound calling.
• Commercial acumen: comfortable discussing margins, order frequency and value propositions.
• Eager to learn the product range and adapt quickly to fast-moving campaigns.
• No prior print industry experience needed; a dedicated training programme covers the technical details.

• Salary of £28,000 - £34,000, OTE £46,000.
