Sales Executive – Environmental Services

About the role

Reed is recruiting a Sales Executive for an established environmental services business in Buckinghamshire. The role is office‑based and focuses on converting inbound enquiries, nurturing warm leads and expanding relationships with existing customers to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Turn inbound enquiries into qualified sales opportunities.
• Follow up quotations and warm leads to maximise conversion rates.
• Identify and develop revenue opportunities within current accounts.
• Re‑engage lapsed customers and generate new business pipelines.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Contribute ideas to support the overall growth of the business.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in sales, telesales, business development or a customer‑facing role.
• Demonstrable ambition, resilience and a strong desire to succeed.
• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to generating opportunities.
• Excellent telephone manner and confident communication skills.
• Strong relationship‑building and customer‑engagement abilities.
• Target‑driven and results‑oriented.
• Well‑organised with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using CRM systems to track sales activity.
