Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive new business and grow existing exhibitor relationships for a portfolio of events. Working from our London office, you will combine tele‑sales, face‑to‑face meetings and strategic planning to exceed revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Source, contract and manage new exhibitors while expanding revenue from existing accounts.
• Make tele‑sales calls to potential and current exhibitors to achieve and surpass sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors and internal show teams.
• Use Salesforce to record high‑performance sales activities and manage pipelines.
• Assist the Sales Manager with floor‑plan curation in collaboration with Operations.
• Research market trends, identify new client opportunities and handle enquiries via phone and email.
• Liaise with Marketing, Operations and Finance to ensure smooth exhibition delivery.
• Resolve exhibitor conflicts on‑site and off‑site, maintaining high customer‑care standards.
• Prepare and send mailings, manage sales administration and report on pipeline health.
• Attend industry events, including occasional weekends, and visit relevant exhibitions domestically and internationally.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a Sales Executive, preferably within consumer exhibitions.
• Strong understanding of the events sales cycle and ability to match exhibitors to brand values.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining high output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM) experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
