Sales Executive

About the role

Rutherford Briant is seeking a driven Sales Executive to join its expanding team in Hadleigh. You will work across the UK and international markets, building relationships and delivering technical solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop customer relationships across the UK and international markets.
• Manage existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Respond to inbound enquiries and convert them into long‑term business.
• Proactively contact prospective customers to generate new sales.
• Provide technical guidance and source the right parts and solutions for customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a supportive sales environment.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, ambitious and self‑motivated approach.
• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and via email.
• Passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert enquiries into repeat business.
• Previous sales experience is beneficial.

Required skills

• Mechanical or technical understanding (highly desirable).
