Sales Executive – Logistics (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive or Sales Consultant to join a well‑established freight forwarding business in Tilbury. You will have the autonomy to generate new business, nurture long‑term customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of our air, sea and road freight services across domestic and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities for import and export freight.
• Prepare competitive quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations teams to drive growth.
• Represent the company in client meetings both on‑site and off‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding sales (air, sea or road).
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent customer‑relationship management skills.
• Desire to build a long‑term career within an established logistics organisation.
