Sales Executive – Membership Organisation

About the role

Our client, a well‑established UK membership organisation, is seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to grow its community of independent professionals. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process, from generating leads to converting them into paying members, while promoting the value of the organisation’s services and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage self‑employed professionals and independent business owners to increase membership numbers.
• Build and manage a personal pipeline of prospective members.
• Follow up on marketing‑generated leads and convert enquiries into memberships.
• Achieve growth and revenue targets set by the Director of Membership.
• Communicate the benefits of membership and tailor conversations to prospect needs.
• Maintain accurate activity records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to generate new leads and raise awareness.
• Contribute to membership growth strategies and sales initiatives.
• Attend events and networking opportunities across the UK as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or membership sales with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive approach with the confidence to work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Results‑oriented mindset with solid numerical and commercial awareness.
• Experience using CRM systems (advantageous).

What we offer

• Basic salary of £28,000‑£30,000 per year.
• Attractive commission scheme with realistic OTE of £40,000‑£50,000.
• Flexible hybrid working: weekly office attendance for those near London, monthly/quarterly for remote candidates.
