Sales Executive – New Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Executive to generate new business for a global manufacturer of high‑quality bespoke solutions. Based in Northwich with a hybrid working model, you will own outbound prospecting across UK and international markets, shaping the role as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and networking.
• Identify and qualify potential customers across various industries and international markets.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Arrange meetings and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Develop an in‑depth understanding of the company’s products and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging business opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated drive, resilience and passion for winning new business.
• Experience in business development, sales or lead generation roles.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold calling.
• Self‑starter able to work independently and manage workload.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Quick learner eager to become an expert in technical products.
