Sales Manager – Business Technology Services (UK)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑driven Sales Manager to lead new‑business development and deepen existing client relationships across the UK. The role focuses on complex, service‑led opportunities within the Business Technology Services sector, requiring consultative selling and senior stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities within enterprise and large corporate organisations.
• Develop and execute targeted sales plans that drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive market engagement and strategic prospecting.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales lifecycle—from discovery to negotiation and contract award.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision‑makers and create account development plans to expand customer engagement.
• Collaborate with technical, solution and delivery teams to design customer‑focused proposals and ensure smooth handover of new business.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and commercial recommendations, and manage contractual discussions.
• Provide accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting using CRM systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales role within a consultative, service‑oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and navigate complex sales cycles.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
