Sales Manager – Contact Centre Team Lead

About the role

We are expanding our Manchester contact centre and need an experienced Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing team of Sales Advisors. You will coach, motivate and develop the team while ensuring commercial targets are met and customers receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Sales Advisors to consistently exceed performance targets.
• Monitor and analyse sales KPIs, productivity metrics and conversion rates, implementing action plans to close gaps.
• Deliver structured one‑to‑one coaching, mentoring and performance reviews to build confidence and capability.
• Champion a customer‑first approach, ensuring all sales activity is ethical, compliant and adds long‑term value.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months’ experience as a Sales Team Leader or Sales Manager.
• Proven track record of leading teams in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and performance‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Results‑focused with a passion for developing people.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary £37,474 per year.
• Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £65,000–£75,000+.
• Full‑time, office‑based role (5 days per week) with shift pattern between 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.
• One late shift per week and two weekend days per month.
