Sales Manager – Hybrid – £80k + Bonus + Car Allowance

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Manager to lead and develop a high‑performing sales team for a market‑leading engineering solutions provider in the North West. This hybrid role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on business development, allowing you to shape the next phase of growth while leveraging your existing network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach an internal and field‑based sales team to exceed commercial targets.
• Drive new client acquisition and maximise opportunities with existing accounts.
• Attend field visits alongside the team and conduct independent prospecting.
• Generate and follow up on leads, staying current with industry trends.
• Produce regular sales reports for the Managing Director.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven B2B engineering sales leadership experience.
• Strong track record of winning new business and nurturing long‑term client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop successful sales teams.
• Consultative selling style with excellent influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• Established network of senior decision‑makers in the engineering sector.
• High energy, resilience and a results‑driven mindset.
