Sales Manager

About the role

ReAgent Chemical Services is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its UK sales operation. Based in Runcorn, you will combine hands‑on selling with strategic account development to grow revenue across the chemical manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the sales and customer service teams to achieve targets.
• Manage the company’s largest customer accounts and support major sales opportunities.
• Identify high‑value enquiries, prioritize them and maximise conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate and effective use of the CRM system for pipeline and performance tracking.
• Monitor sales forecasts, profitability and pipeline activity, reporting to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of sales management experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemicals.
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing key accounts.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips; full UK driving licence required.
• Degree, professional sales qualification, or equivalent commercial experience is preferred.
