Sales Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high‑performing team in Stevenage. You will be responsible for driving results while ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team, setting clear targets and providing daily briefs, visual performance tracking and regular feedback.
• Identify under‑performance early and deliver tailored coaching plans through structured 1:1s, development goals and follow‑up actions.
• Monitor QA scores, cancellations and complaints to maintain high quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee operational tasks such as holiday approvals, shift swaps and absences in line with HR policies.
• Ensure accurate handling of client data and efficient lead management to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Participate in recruitment activities, including interviews, assessment days and onboarding of new team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams within a regulated environment.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with a track record of developing talent.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Confidence in managing performance metrics and compliance standards.
