Sales Manager – Process, Chemical & Environmental Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced technical sales professional to drive new business and develop long‑term relationships with utility and chemical processing companies. The role involves producing competitive commercial bids for a specialist manufacturer of air‑pollution and odour control solutions, managing customer requirements, supplier costings and negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and progress bids, ensuring technical and specification compliance, pricing and commercial terms.
• Write and manage effective proposals and assist the estimating team with document compliance.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to obtain costings and negotiate terms.
• Create detailed technical quotations that meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues, external technical resources and the supply chain to identify solutions, source parts and services, and deliver quotations.

Required profile

• Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience in chemical, engineering, environmental or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Proven experience selling technical products, engineered solutions or process equipment into industrial markets.
