Sales & Marketing Director

About the role

We are looking for a strategic Sales & Marketing Director to lead an award‑winning travel specialist. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape the commercial strategy, integrate sales and marketing functions and drive growth across the UK and US.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated sales and marketing strategy aligned with long‑term growth ambitions.
• Drive revenue, market share and profitability in both UK and US markets.
• Lead the commercial expansion of the US business, creating a scalable growth model.
• Identify new commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships and routes to market.
• Oversee annual commercial planning, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Steer brand development, customer proposition and market positioning.
• Manage content strategy, PR, communications, social media and brand storytelling.
• Design integrated customer acquisition programmes across paid, owned and earned channels.
• Lead performance and digital marketing initiatives, including website optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading integrated sales and marketing functions in a customer‑focused organisation.
• Comfortable influencing at Executive and Board level.
• Strategic vision with a passion for building brands and high‑performing teams.
• Ability to balance long‑term direction with execution‑focused results.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of performance and digital marketing techniques.
