Sales Negotiator

About the role

Our client is a successful and growing property business based in Colchester and is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Negotiator to join their team. The role involves managing a portfolio of properties, negotiating offers and delivering a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties and act as the main point of contact for vendors and buyers.
• Provide vendors with regular updates, market feedback and activity reports.
• Liaise with local estate agents regarding property marketing and sales activity.
• Handle incoming sales enquiries, arrange and negotiate property offers.
• Negotiate between buyers, vendors and developers to achieve successful sales.
• Complete AML checks on prospective buyers and produce accurate Memorandums of Sale.
• Work closely with the Sales Progression team once a sale is agreed and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Negotiator or in an estate agency environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Proactive, target‑driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• £25,000 basic salary with OTE potential of £30,000+.
