Sales Office Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Office Manager to lead a small B2B team in a fast‑paced environment. The role is primarily office‑based with occasional face‑to‑face meetings with customers and key account visits.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales across a range of customer accounts and manage key accounts.
• Create, analyse and present reports to the Sales Director, highlighting anomalies and opportunities.
• Negotiate special agreements with key accounts and guide team members.
• Oversee day‑to‑day team management, including recruitment, training, performance management and customer guidance.
• Develop an understanding of the company’s and competitors’ product ranges.
• Understand production/print processes, costs, logistics and competitor capabilities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to maximise product exposure via industry media, social media, email campaigns and catalogues.
• Visit key accounts and attend exhibitions as required.
• Drive process improvements, support complaint resolution and advise the sales and after‑sales teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar Sales Office Manager or B2B customer‑care leadership role.
• Proven experience of face‑to‑face customer meetings.
• Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Full, current driving licence.
