Sales & Operations Administrator – Customer Service & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales & Operations Administrator to join a growing UK distributor in Staplehurst. Working Monday‑Friday, you will be the hub between customers, sales, warehouse and logistics, ensuring orders are processed smoothly and customers receive top‑class support.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer enquiries by phone and email, providing timely and accurate information.
• Enter and manage sales orders, quotations, acknowledgements and delivery documentation in the CRM/ERP system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records, order trackers and audit‑ready logs.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, returns and credit notes, handling courier paperwork.
• Liaise with sales, warehouse, operations, quality and management teams to resolve issues.
• Support purchase order creation, stock control processes and general sales administration.
• Ensure all documentation is filed correctly and complies with company quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across sales and operational processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales administration or office support.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
