Sales & Operations Associate

About the role

Grounded is looking for a Sales & Operations Associate to own customer deals from the first enquiry through to a fulfilled order. You will work in a fast‑moving sustainable packaging environment, using the company’s proprietary platform and AI assistant to keep customers well‑served.

Key responsibilities

• Take qualified inbound enquiries, build rapport and guide customers to a closed order.
• Explain trade‑offs between cost, lead time, quantity, quality and sustainability for first‑time packaging buyers.
• Ensure orders are clean before handing them to production and resolve any blockers with operations, suppliers and finance.
• Use internal software and AI tools daily to reduce repetitive admin and make judgment calls.
• Identify friction points in processes and provide feedback for tool improvement.
• Align sales, operations and finance teams on active deals and keep information accurate.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with the ability to move quickly through a sales pipeline.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems proactively.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid sales‑operations role and handling multiple tasks.
• Interest in sustainable packaging and willingness to learn the industry.

• £40,000 base salary plus commission.
• Full‑day schedule Monday‑Thursday with a half‑day on Friday.
