Sales Order Processor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Order Processor to act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and orders are processed accurately from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard customer support via email, telephone and other channels.
• Process customer orders accurately, verifying product codes, quantities, pricing and delivery details.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
• Liaise with internal teams – Sales, Finance, Purchasing and Inventory – to resolve queries and support smooth operations.
• Monitor orders from placement through delivery, providing updates and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate customer records and keep information up‑to‑date.
• Support compliance requirements for retail customers across the UK and Europe.
• Assist colleagues across different accounts during busy periods and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in an order processing environment.
• Positive, solutions‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle JDE (or similar)

What we offer

• Salary between £29,000 and £30,000 per year, dependent on experience.
