Sales Performance Manager – Automotive (Remote, Northern England)

About the role

The Sales Performance Manager will lead automotive dealer performance across Northern England, working remotely with a Yorkshire base. You will partner with dealer principals and senior leadership to drive revenue, improve customer experience and meet regional sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and exceed regional sales targets and commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, sales leaders and key stakeholders.
• Support dealerships with performance improvement plans, training and best‑practice initiatives.
• Implement national sales campaigns and promotional activities across the region.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activity, providing recommendations to drive growth.
• Monitor retailer KPI performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a consistent customer experience across the dealer network.
• Produce regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.
• Travel extensively throughout Northern England to support dealership partners.

Required profile

• Significant experience within the automotive industry.
• Proven background in dealer network management and field‑based sales performance roles.
• Strong existing relationships and knowledge of the dealer network landscape.
• Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding commercial targets.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Proactive, resilient and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
