Sales Proposals Engineer – Fire Suppression

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Proposals Engineer to drive growth in the fire suppression market. This project‑led, consultative position focuses on identifying and developing fire suppression opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will own proposals from early engagement through tender submission, collaborating closely with internal teams to craft commercially sound bids.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and define the most suitable fire suppression solution for each project.
• Prepare cost estimates and produce tender and proposal documents.
• Manage project opportunities through the bid process, from initial enquiry to submission.
• Engage with customers at mid to senior level, delivering technical and commercial presentations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline using Salesforce.
• Support growth by improving conversion rates and securing successful project wins.

Required profile

• Proven experience achieving targets in a project‑led or solutions‑based environment.
• Strong experience preparing cost estimates, tenders and detailed proposals.
• Good technical understanding of fire suppression systems.
• Confident communication of value and clear presentation of solutions.
• Experience within the fire suppression industry (preferred).
