Sales Reporting Specialist

About the role

This position sits within a fast‑growing automotive organisation that is expanding across the UK. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will own the design, development and delivery of the full suite of sales and retailer performance reports, providing critical insight to both field teams and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain comprehensive sales, retailer and performance reporting dashboards.
• Create and present management information packs for senior stakeholders.
• Analyse sales performance, retailer activity and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Produce weekly and monthly forecasting reports based on retailer submissions and broader business data.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear commercial insights.
• Ensure timely distribution of reports across field teams and retailer partners.
• Support retailer performance management through data‑driven recommendations.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and reporting partners, including tender activities.
• Continuously improve reporting processes, automation and dashboard functionality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reporting, analytics, sales operations, commercial analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong ability to work with large data sets and identify key performance indicators.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Power BI – building dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel – data analysis and reporting.
