Sales Support Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join our rapidly expanding B2B sales team in Stroud. The role involves providing end‑to‑end administrative support for both pre‑ and post‑sales activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team with data entry, document preparation, and contract management.
• Prioritise daily workflow independently and meet tight deadlines for gas and electricity quotes.
• Create and validate quote documentation in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain and update customer records in CRM systems.
• Handle incoming customer queries and route them to the appropriate sales representatives.
• Liaise with internal departments such as pricing and customer service.
• Support bid and tender submissions by preparing pricing and contract documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for sales administration.
• Produce standard and ad‑hoc reports for senior managers.
• Provide additional ad‑hoc support for internal and external queries via email and telephone.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales support, sales administration, or customer service.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced sales environment.
• Strong numeracy and problem‑solving capabilities.
