Sales Support Administrator – Outbound Business Development

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our growing construction services business in Barnet. You will be the first point of contact with prospective clients, introducing our piling, underpinning and repair solutions and helping to build a steady pipeline of opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to target companies and introduce our specialist construction services.
• Identify, qualify and record new business opportunities in the CRM.
• Arrange meetings, calls and introductions for senior team members, including the Managing Director.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and follow‑up on leads until a clear outcome is reached.
• Collaborate with the wider team to focus on priority sectors and nurture relationships with decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telesales, outbound sales, business development or lead generation.
• Demonstrated ability to generate appointments and new business through proactive outreach.
• Confident telephone manner and resilience in handling rejection.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to manage follow‑up activity independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in the Barnet office.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot.
