Sales Support – Events & Social Media (12‑Month Fixed Term)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Support professional to join our client’s commercial team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract in South Edinburgh. The role blends administration, customer service, event coordination and social‑media content creation, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders and handle enquiries by phone and email.
• Manage sales team inboxes, diaries and coordinate sample requests.
• Maintain customer records, generate reports and support business administration.
• Assist with stock reporting, prepare event materials and promotional displays.
• Create and edit marketing assets using design software.
• Manage and schedule content across social‑media channels, capturing photos and video at events.

Required profile

• Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator able to engage customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support various business areas.

What we offer

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a salary of £33,000‑£36,000 per year (dependent on experience).
