Salesforce Administrator (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Salesforce Administrator to join a leading UK engineering and services group focused on water management and infrastructure solutions. The role is permanent, full‑time, based in Hardwicke/Gloucester, and offers the chance to shape and maintain critical Salesforce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Salesforce solutions using Flows, validation rules, approvals and other declarative tools.
• Administer and configure Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud, managing users, permissions, security, reports, dashboards and data access.
• Manage releases, changes and support in line with IT change‑control processes, handling incidents and maintaining enhancement backlogs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver scalable solutions, provide user training and challenge requests that could impact the platform.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, process maps and configuration records while supporting broader IT responsibilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with strong platform knowledge.
• Hands‑on expertise in Sales Cloud and working knowledge of Marketing Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Business‑focused mindset, translating requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
• Experience working within IT governance, including change control, documentation and best practices.

What we offer

• Permanent full‑time contract, Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm.
