Sales/Supply Service Representative (SSR)

About the role

We are seeking a Sales/Supply Service Representative (SSR) to join our fast‑paced, customer‑focused team in Sutton. The SSR acts as the first point of contact for both customers and suppliers, handling order processing, queries and complaints on the sales and purchasing sides.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via email or phone, ensuring accurate entry into the system.
• Answer queries on pricing, delivery dates and order status, maintaining positive relationships.
• Resolve complaints related to damaged or delayed deliveries efficiently.
• Place supplier purchase orders according to stock levels and customer needs.
• Manage queries about purchase order delivery delays, stock discrepancies and supplier issues.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and work with third‑party warehouses and logistics providers.
• Record and follow up on purchase‑related complaints to improve processes.
• Collaborate with team members across sales and purchasing to support overall goals and perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Numerate, comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and reports.
• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (grade C or higher).
