SAP Product Owner – S/4HANA Transformation (Contract)

About the role

We are supporting a large retail enterprise that is delivering a major SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation. The role is a contract position focused on the retail and supply‑chain workstreams, acting as the bridge between business users and technical SAP teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support SAP ECC retail and S/4HANA transformation activities across SD, MM, OTC, P2P and broader supply‑chain functions.
• Gather and document business requirements, user stories and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and third‑party partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with SIT/UAT testing, defect management, release activities and backlog prioritisation.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements and change‑request handling.
• Participate in data migration, validation and reconciliation tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Hands‑on knowledge of retail and supply‑chain processes (SD, MM, OTC, P2P).
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation abilities.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Background as Product Owner, Product Manager, SAP Functional Consultant or Delivery Lead.
