SAP Technical Architect

About the role

Hirexa Solutions UK is seeking a senior SAP Technical Architect to lead the design and execution of a complex SAP ECC carve‑out. The role combines deep technical expertise with hands‑on leadership of data separation, migration and cut‑over activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end technical architecture, landscape strategy and migration roadmaps for the SAP ECC carve‑out.
• Lead scoping, blueprinting and technical execution of data separation using SNP transformation tools.
• Configure and manage SNP software for data analysis, system profiling and object‑based data slicing.
• Establish detailed technical cut‑over plans, including downtime windows and fallback procedures.
• Architect target SAP landscape, covering server sizing, integration points, user access controls and transport management.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to validate company‑code specific configuration, master data and transactional data isolation.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies during dry runs and final cut‑over.
• Provide technical governance and quality assurance across infrastructure, archiving and basis workstreams.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Technical Architecture and Basis, preferably in SAP ECC environments.
• Proven hands‑on experience with SAP system carve‑outs, company‑code splits or divestitures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a rigorous approach to data validation and testing.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
