SAP Transformation Consultant (Professional Services)

About the role

As an SAP Transformation Consultant you will lead strategic change initiatives for a medium‑sized professional services consultancy. The position is based in Edinburgh with the flexibility to work mostly remotely, allowing you to support clients across the sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and design SAP solutions that align with business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end SAP transformation projects, from initiation through to delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely and on‑budget delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables.
• Provide expert advice on SAP best practices, system optimisation and change management.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
• Deliver training and support to end‑users to promote effective adoption of SAP solutions.
• Monitor progress and report regularly to ensure alignment with client expectations.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in SAP systems, particularly within the professional services sector.
• Professional accountancy qualification.
• Proven track record of delivering SAP transformation projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a consultancy environment and embrace change‑management principles.
