SC Cleared Architect – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

This is a six‑month contract position for a Security‑Cleared Architect, working remotely for a client in the UK. The role requires immediate availability and an active SC clearance. You will act as the technical authority for SAS‑based analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure SAS environments from an architectural and platform perspective.
• Lead the set‑up of enterprise‑wide SAS deployment models and administration processes.
• Define ETL and data‑integration architectures supporting analytics workloads.
• Integrate SAS solutions with Oracle and other enterprise database platforms.
• Collaborate with networking teams to ensure infrastructure supports analytic platforms.
• Implement monitoring, operational support, and governance frameworks for data platforms.

Required profile

• Active SC clearance.
• Deep expertise in SAS, able to act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong experience with SAS architecture, administration, and enterprise deployment.
• Proven background in ETL design and data‑integration architecture.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and integration techniques.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure for analytics environments.
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance in data platform delivery.
