About the role
A leading critical infrastructure specialist is recruiting an experienced Schneider Controls Engineer to work on high-profile data center projects in Slough. You will commission, maintain and optimise critical control systems using Schneider automation technology in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
Key responsibilities
- Commission, modify and fault-find Schneider control systems on live data center projects
- Develop and maintain Schneider Modicon PLC applications
- Configure and support SCADA systems for critical infrastructure
- Carry out testing, commissioning and system integration
- Work with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams to deliver projects safely and on schedule
- Provide technical support during project delivery and client handover
Required profile
- Experience with Schneider Modicon PLCs
- Strong background working with SCADA systems
- Previous experience in data centers or other critical environments is highly desirable
- Able to fault-find, commission and optimise automation systems
- Full UK driving licence
