School Administrator – SIMS Experienced (Temporary)

About the role
We are seeking a School Administrator to join a secondary school in Barking & Dagenham from September 2026. The role is based in the school office and focuses on maintaining accurate records and supporting daily administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Enter and update pupil, staff and financial data using the SIMS system.
- Manage day‑to‑day office tasks, including phone handling, correspondence and filing.
- Support the school leadership team with reporting and data extraction.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and school policies.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a primary or secondary school administrative setting.
- Proven ability to work efficiently with SIMS or similar school information systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
