About the role
Are you an experienced catering professional looking for a rewarding role in a school environment? We are seeking a School Catering Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operation of a busy school kitchen, preparing nutritious meals, managing a small team and maintaining high food‑hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve healthy, high‑quality meals
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
- Manage stock levels, food orders and budgets
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Keep accurate compliance and inspection records
Required profile
- Previous catering or food preparation experience
- School catering experience desirable
- Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
- Strong organisational and team leadership skills
- Passionate about providing healthy, appealing food for students
