About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Cleaner in Chelmsford. This temporary, part‑time position starts on 1 September 2026 and involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, restrooms and other school areas each day.
Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the school management promptly.
Adhere to health‑and‑safety standards and follow the school’s cleaning procedures.

Required profile

Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a tidy learning environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to obtain or hold a valid DBS check.
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Required skills

No specific technical skills are required; basic cleaning abilities are sufficient.
