School Cleaner – Early Morning Shifts

About the role
We are seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join a team supporting a school in Warrington. The role offers early‑morning shifts, either a split schedule (6 am‑8 am and 3:15 pm‑6 pm) or a morning‑only pattern (6 am‑8 am), up to 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in toilets and washrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and operate floor‑care equipment.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste correctly and replenish cleaning supplies.
- Report any hazards or issues in line with health‑and‑safety procedures.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check (essential).
- Ability to start work at 6 am and commit to the chosen shift pattern.
- Reliable transport for punctual arrival.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn equipment such as a scrubber‑dryer machine.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
