School Cleaner – Full‑time, Long‑term (Cambridge area)

About the role

We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school located in a picturesque village just outside Cambridge to hire a reliable School Cleaner on a full‑time, long‑term basis starting September 2026. This role offers a stable environment where your work directly contributes to a clean and safe learning atmosphere for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas each day.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the school, including sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
• Empty bins, replenish supplies, and ensure cleaning equipment is stored safely.
• Support the wider site team in keeping the school environment tidy and secure.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Willingness to follow a split‑shift schedule (early morning and late afternoon).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
